This is a beginner level course that explains green wall and green roof systems. You don't require any prior knowledge in landscape architecture.

Description:

This course is approved for 0.5 GBCI Continuation Education (CE) credits. After completing the course you can report your credit towards LEED credential maintenance.

Landscaping in urban areas, where space is at a premium, is witnessing a host of innovations. Green wall and green roof systems are increasingly becoming popular choices for turning facades, blind walls and roofs into ‘living’ systems. Along with being great landscape features, these systems also have the potential to enhance building performance!

This course is a primer on green roof and green wall systems. It walks you through the different systems available, their installation as well as design considerations for the systems. 

If you want to understand how adding a green wall or roof in your design will benefit your project, this course is right for you!

The course is divided into 4 modules with high-quality media and graphics and an engaging narrative. At the end of this course, you will be able to leverage the use of green roof and wall systems to meet multiple sustainability goals in your project.
